Iulian Patrascanu

In July 2007, Iulian founded Fine Law | Patrascanu and Associates, with a strategic focus on Regulatory & Compliance. Fine Law’s drive is to be simply the best, setting the standard in building compliance programs in Romania.

Iulian has over 20 years experience advising local and multinational companies in Employment & Labour, Merger & Acquisition and Competition Council matters. Throughout his practice, Iulian was counsel to clients such as Ericsson, Unilever, Wipro Ltd, American Express Bank, Citibank, Romtelecom, Hewlett Packard, Impress France, British Telecom, Coca-Cola, Colgate Palmolive, Dubai Ports International, LG, Pfizer, Bucharest Stock Exchange, C&A.

Iulian regularly advises large multinational companies in all areas of merger & acquisition, including advice in merger plans, transactional documentation, extensive due diligence (pre and post transactions) and labour and employment, including Management exits for Top Management individuals; collective bargaining agreements (drafting, negotiations, interpretation and implementation); employee benefit agreements (including drafting and implementation of stock-option plans); collective dismissals, internal employment policies and procedures, labor relations due diligence, labour and employment law trainings and employment dispute resolution.

Iulian conducts compliance programs in relation to labour and personnel policies. He is the author of the first compliance program in human resources and labour law, which he coordinates within Fine Law.

Iulian participated as a speaker to labour law conferences and he is the author of articles on specific labour law topics, published in labour law journals and magazines in Romania.
