Assisting a multinational business process outsourcing company (BPO) in relation to various day-to-day employment aspects regarding: organization of working time, breach of confidentiality and non-compete clause by employees, annual leave scheduling and prescription of right, advising and conducting a large number of disciplinary investigations, drafting policy on employees’ professional assessment.

 
 

Secondment Program

Assisting the shared services centre of Top 3 international logistic company with respect to various employment matters concerning secondment arrangements, our work included establishing a strategy, drafting procedure and supporting documentation, training of HR practitioners in relation to the project.

 
 

Conducting Group HR Reorganization

Successfully assisting a multinational electronics company with Group reorganization at European level. Full Employment Due Diligence

Providing labour law advice to a top company acting in education field. Our work included full comprehensive due diligence on all employment aspects; implementation of recommended remedies derived from the due diligence report, which included: redrafting the template of labour contract, drafting missing job descriptions and redrafting existing job descriptions, drafting the organizational chart, drafting internal rules, drafting procedures related to misconduct and non-performance investigations and related templates, organizing elections for employees representatives and drafting procedure and regulation for employees’ representatives activity, and assisting the client in drafting and negotiations of the collective bargaining agreement.

Assisting a major European fashion retailer with respect to various employment matters, including: assistance and representation before Local Labour Office (“ITM”) in several investigations made by the above mentioned; advising and assisting the client with regards with the measures imposed by ITM; redrafting the internal rules and compliance check of the Group policy with Romanian legislation; drafting procedure and related documentation to address employee non-performance; in-house training to store managers, addressing misconduct and non-performance of an employee.

Assisting a top European fashion retailer in two cases related to discrimination and harassment. Our work included analysing the cases and mitigation of it. In addition, we advised on legal requirements that an employer must meet to avoid liability and incidents of discrimination and harassment, and we provided discrimination training to avoid workplace harassment.
