The Labour Law Seminar, 24 April 2015

Iulian Patrascanu held on 24 April 2015 “The Labour Law Seminar” in the Bucharest offices of the firm DB Schenker, continuing the series of short meetings for the managers interested to discuss Labour & Employment law topics. 

Whilst the workshop was tailored on the specific needs of participants, the aim was to provide the HR specialists with a clear understanding of various legal concepts, in order to properly use the criteria in various operational processes. Thus, the discussions brought in focus topics as:

•Dismissal for misconduct, incompetence, incompatibility;
•New developments regarding temporary contracts and temporary employment services;
•Discrimination in employment;
•Equal pay for equal work.

The participants benefited from practical information about current developments in the critical areas of labour law. The managers were encouraged to ask questions and analyze the usual practices, the interactive character of the event being a plus in the presentation of the legal matters.
