"Managing People Overseas"- workshop, 24 June 2015

Fine Law organized on 24 June 2015 the event “Managing People Overseas”, an interactive workshop divided in two parts.  The first part of the workshop focused on HR matters, more specifically, the available legal tools when sending abroad the company’s employees and how to use such tools proficiently. The second part put in discussion a number of key requirements for an effective compliance with personal data protection rules applicable in the employment context.

The presentations were held by the speakers Iulian Patrascanu and Dana Isaroiu, having as special guests Mr. Florin Grama (Director Support Engineering, Microsoft Customer Service & Support, President of ABSL), Mrs. Daniela Vasilescu (FCCA) and Mrs. Simona- Nicoleta Zanfir, Legal Counsel at The National Supervisory Authority For Personal Data Processing.

The many questions raised by the participants, representatives of local and multinational companies, have drawn attention to the need of prevention in HR, both in terms of labor procedures, but also in terms of processing their personal data non-abusively. The event aims to raise awareness on the procedures and the guarantees that accompany HR activities and will be continued with other workshops dedicated to BPO, ITO and SSC industries.
